Communication
Scientific advances influence almost all parts of society, so scientists and the research community have a duty to communicate research results. This ensures citizens and policymakers are well informed about the world we live in, and helps to avoid misconceptions about new technologies. Many grant funders including the European Commission now make communication of results a contractual obligation.
Ceratium devise and implement targeted activities and media packs to help our clients and project partners communicate project results, including scientific discoveries and new evidence, to the wider community. This involves designing and developing outreach events, workshops, project websites, producing support materials and running online and print media campaigns. We work with our partners to identify stakeholders including policy makers, organisations in the value chain, regulators, and citizens. Key messages are then selected for each group and delivered using appropriate platforms to reach the target audiences.
Our expertise helps develop clear effective action plans as a critical element of proposals and projects.
